WELCOME TO REDWOOD CITY

Script Proposal for the Redwood City Visitor’s Bureau

When I woke up, both the bottle and the bed beside me were empty. I had one hell of a headache. My keys were missing, so I knew right away that she had taken the car and was long gone. I guess we had a few laughs, but now it was all over. I was gonna miss that car.

I got up and put on my pants and shirt. If I was gonna be stuck somewhere, I might as well find out where I was. I hit the street and the sun was warm on my face. There were kids running around in a park and a band was playing somewhere. The people looked friendly and clean.

I stopped to look around. I asked a man what the name of the town was and he pointed to the sky. I looked up. There was a big sign above the street and the sign said Redwood City and I thought it sounded like home.
